Managing Partner

Oliver Patten is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Sherburne Partners.

Prior to Sherburne, Oliver was an investor at Saroras Private Capital where he was responsible for transaction sourcing, diligence, and execution across the lower middle market business services sector.

Oliver was previously an investor at Starr Investment Holdings focused on business and healthcare services. He started his career at Morgan Stanley where he worked in capital markets and M&A advisory across various industries, including industrial and financial services.

He graduated with a BS in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University and also received a minor in Financial Economics.

Oliver grew up in Dallas, Texas and currently lives in New York City with his wife. In his free time, he enjoys golf, triathlons, Vanderbilt sports, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Managing Partner

Parker Shields is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Sherburne Partners.

Prior to Sherburne, Parker was an investment banker at Perella Weinberg Partners, where he advised entrepreneurs, early-stage growth companies, and corporations in the business services and financial technology space on strategy, M&A, and capital raising.

Parker was previously in the Strategy and M&A group at AIG in New York City where he worked across strategic acquisitions, dispositions, and corporate VC.

He graduated with a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a dual concentration in Finance and Legal Studies, and also received a minor in Chinese.

Parker is from Paducah, Kentucky and currently resides in New York. In his free time, he enjoys fitness, Kentucky bourbon, and horse racing.
